"Peru can offer the mystical, magical and mysterious all at the same time so come and join us for a once in a lifetime spiritual journey."

Cultural holiday to Machu Pichu Peru

Mystical Peru & Machu Picchu
8-21st November 2009
– the Empire of the Incas

Our visit to this mystical land of the Incas, with its ancient Sun and Moon Temples, its mountainside terraces high in the Andes, and its sheer beauty, is truly memorable.

Highlights include:
Spending time in the Sacred Valley
Full Moon ceremony and initiations
Attunements at Machu Picchu
Lake Titicaca

In 1911 the legendary Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, was discovered, which stimulated the internal road to a new state of consciousness and acknowledged by many as a spiritual haven. In this living initiation centre, powerful energies, which are still very much alive, are accessible. On this scared journey we will view the 'Gate to the Sun', Cuzco 'The Plexus of the World', Sacsayhuaman in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Ollantaytambo, and Pisac. The legendary Lake Titicaca beckons, and powerful Sillustani. (See Amazon option below.)

It is thought that at one time, prior to the Atlantean demise, there existed a land with advanced technology, whose people gazed at the stars and planets, who dreamed reality into life, who revered gold along with the Sun, the Moon, the wind, the seasons and rhythms, the harmony and beauty of our magnetic Earth and Nature. With our own Shaman we will formulate our own personal cosmologies. Included are powerful meditations, initiations, shamanic rituals and ancient ceremonies.

Peru contains the Mystical, Magical and Mysterious all at the same time, so come and join us for your once in a lifetime Spiritual Journey - experience a real shift in consciousness.

What people have said:
Dear Sandra
Thank you for the gift of being able to share the joy of Peru with you. Every minute was special and I shall always remember the magic of the attunement at the full moon ceremony at Machu Picchu. No brochure description could ever do justice to the unique blend of spirituality, fun, sight-seeing and the magic of the adventure.
Now here I am back at no. 2 – it’s wonderful being back with the family again. I still carry all the blessings of those two weeks around me.
I will look forward to ‘the next time’ and send you love for now. Joan

Dear Sandra,
Now that I’ve had time to catch my breath being back down at sea level again this note is being written with heartfelt thanks for a truly wonderful experience in the magical and beautiful land of Peru. The two weeks in South America were so memorable. John and I enjoyed every moment. It was so well organised and yet seemed so natural – things just seemed to happen at the right time. The universe just attended to our needs as and when necessary. From the first moments at Heathrow airport early on that Thursday morning I knew we were going to enjoy the whole trip. I might not possess the gift of seeing people’s auras but I have good intuition about sensing when things are just right!
You are a lovely person Sandra, and so understated considering your many gifts and talents. David

The Chile option:
The Ancient country of Chile holds many marvellous energy sites and awe-inspiring scenery. Join Sandra for sacred time in The Torres del Paine National Park with its wonderful glaciers, waterfalls and wildlife. Visit the historic city of Santiago. In Punta Arenas learn about the native Indians: the Yaganas, Onas and Alacalufes. Wildlife enthusiasts will love the penguin colony.

5 nights/ 6 days - £995 (plus flights from UK or Peru accordingly)
Please enquire for full itinerary - below is a guide at time of writing:

Day 1: Fly Lima – Santiago - Punta Arenas.
Day 2: Full day at Torres de Paine National Park power sites, including Miladon Cave. Lunch included.
Day 3: Serrano and Balamaceda Glaciers. Lunch included.
Day 4: Visit to Penguin colony and viewing wildlife.

The Galapagos Islands option:
Discovered by Darwin in 1835, and now one of the most important natural history sites in the world, the Galapagos Islands are located approximately 1000 km west of Ecuador and comprise of 13 main islands and 6 smaller ones. These islands, isolated since pre-historical times, are a fragile International Conservation area, and have their own unique flora and fauna, which helped inspire Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. Over 60% of the bird-life is found nowhere else on the planet. The fauna include Giant Tortoises and Iguanas, red-footed and blue-footed Boobies, Frigate birds and many others.

Enjoy the weird and wonderful creatures, the crystal clear water and the amazing stark beauty of the prehistoric volcanic formations and unique ecology as a fascinating and unusual optional Extension to our Peru journey.

Please enquire for proposed itinerary for the Galapagos option. An estimated cost is in the region of £1500.

The Brazil & Argentina option:
Brazil - Brazilians say that God created the world in six days and on the seventh, he created the city of Rio. And on first sight this seems perfectly believable as this city is beautifully situated between the mountains and the sea. Although best known for the famous Copacabana beach and its spectacular Carnival, there are also many fine buildings and museums, as well as the statue of Christ (Sugar Loaf) to admire.
Rio Grande do Sul, in the south, is the land of Brazil’s gauchos and vineyards but the main focus for us of this region is Iguassu Falls. These Falls are among the biggest and most spectacular in the world. So huge in face that they make Niagara Falls look like a dripping tap! The walks and views throughout this rainforest area is nothing short of an awe-inspiring experience.

Argentina is geared up to thrill from nights tangoing in the chic quarter of Buenos Aires to gaucho riding in the grasslands of the Pampas.
This is the stomping ground of Maradona, the source of Evita worship, the birthplace of the revolutionary Che Guevara, a meteorite museum and home to the most southerly city in the world. Dynamic and bustling a city which seems never to sleep, Buenos Aires is one of the most exciting cities in Latin America. Restaurants serve all manner of world cuisine, bars play the latest music, cafes spill on to the streets and nightclubs allow dancing throughout the night. A cultural hub of society that traces its roots to European immigration, it is famous throughout South America for its theatres, museums and galleries. Shops that line the boulevards cater for the fashion conscious. Bordered by the Andes, this country is a truly splendid feast for the eyes.

Brief outline of propsed schedule:
• 2 nights in Iguassu Falls, Brazil/Argentina
• 2 nights in Buenos Aires, Argentina
• 1 or 2 nights in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

£1195 approx.
We shall be staying 'B&B' in 1st-class hotels and the price includes all internal flights (3 altogether) from Brasilia to Iguassu Falls - Iguassu Falls to Buenos Aires - Buenos Aires to Rio - from where we return to the UK.

It may be possible to extend your South American tour even further to include a visit to John of God. It is not only the chronically ill who visit but also those sincerely seeking spiritual sustenance.
If you are perhaps interested in John and his work and possibly meeting him then first see the full details of the regular retreat -
