Cultural holiday to Iceland

Take this opportunity to feel the connectedness with nature at her finest. Highlights included are whale watching, and a thrilling flight over some of Iceland’s amazing scenery, which includes bubbling mud pools, steam vents, moonlike craters and an active volcano.

Iceland is now one of the top destinations for whale watching. Over 30,000 excursions took place last year – enough hopefully to convince the Icelandic authorities to not resume whaling.
Within 20 minutes or so of leaving Husavik, known as the whale-watching 'capital', we usually find these magnificent creatures basking in the sheltered waters of Skjalfandi Bay.
A variety of species can often be seen, including minke whales, porpoises, and white beaked dolphins, with occasional sightings of blue, finback, humpback and killer whales.

We also hope to see some of Iceland’s other wildlife, particularly puffins, and other birds of both land and sea.

Itinerary includes:
Regular whale-watching from Husavik, plus a visit to the Whale Museum. Sightseeing tour of the Lake Myvatn area.
An amazing minibus trip to view and experience the volcanic landscape and terrain.
An evening soak in the local hot springs (optional)!
Free time to enjoy a stroll or bicycle ride along the shores of the lake, to meditate, or make new friends.
Accommodation is in pretty local hotel on the shores of Lake Myvatn which is surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful mountains and volcanic scenery.

Flight from UK is usually from Heathrow to Keflavik (though from Glasgow is an option), and then an internal flight to Reykyaklid, Myvatn.

6 days (5 nights) – £695 approx. + airfare from UK (£395 approx.) Please call for latest details.

Accommodation is on a half-board basis (B&B plus evening meal).
Price includes flights and transfers in Iceland.
Group size is small 6-15, and accompanied personally by Sandra Straw. No visas required for UK passport holders. Tetanus immunisation is recommended. English is widely spoken. Temperatures can vary dramatically 6-12ºC (43-54 ºF), but rain is infrequent.

PLEASE NOTE: Circle of Light/spiritualholidays.com reserves the right to change itineraries and prices if local and/or world conditions change.

Excellent – enough time in both meditation and activity. Excellent opportunity to reconnect with certain energies. A joyous experience with plenty of ‘added extras’.
I’ve awakened to a greater part of myself – everything truly is within.
